Head of Marketing / Marketing Manager, JO3261. South Co. Donegal. Perm, Full time hours. Salary tbc, commensurate with experience. We are delighted to be working with an award-winning retailer and service business operating throughout Ireland who are renowned for their excellence in customer care, to assist them in sourcing and appointing a suitably qualified and experienced Head of Marketing. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with other senior members of the team, the Head of Marketing / Marketing Manager will be results orientated with responsibility for all aspects of marketing within the business. Your role will include but will not be limited to the following: Development of a strong marketing strategy for the company inclusive of both traditional and digital platforms and execution of same; Create a marketing plan that develops and aligns products with the demographics and needs of customers; Manage all external PR related activities and communications to ensure consistency of message throughout; Develop a digital customer engagement and promotional plan to utilise and maximise digital platforms and strengthen the customer engagement interface; Drive and grow the range of online services available to customers; Evaluate and report on the performance of marketing campaigns to drive ROI; Develop the brand to reflect its core values and enhance recognition amongst the target base; To organise events such as the competitions and quizzes, providing logistical support such as materials and papers, as required; Act as liaison in relation to all advertising, radio, newspapers and magazines etc; Responsible for the design and production of advertising material to be used within the company and by the media; Designing new customer packs, information literature, new formats for calendar, posters and promotional material as required; Liaising with management and staff in order to source ideas to be used for promoting the company; To attend training programmes and workshops as required by the company; Responsibility for the development of all marketing collateral; Ad hoc projects as requested by management; Ability to develop strong relationships with agencies and other companies that we may collaborate with; Be aware of digital influencers, which would complement the company and its goals. What we are looking for: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Relevant qualification (Degree or Masters) in Marketing / Digital Marketing desirable; Ideally a minimum of 5/7 years' experience in a similar marketing role with a track record of success; Have implemented digital and traditional marketing strategies into their current or previous business with quantifiable results; Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; Very good negotiation and influencing skills; Good project management skills; Strong sales experience an advantage; The ability to build and maintain relationships is essential in the role; Ability to work under pressure and to targets and deadlines is a prerequisite of this position.
